Where Humboldt Can Gather Tonight to Drink Beer and Watch Donald Trump, Other Republicans (VIDEO)

With the football season winding down, America can turn its full attention to our second favorite bloodsport: presidential politics. And Thursday is gonna be a fun night to kick off this year’s season! 2016’s first Republican Presidential Debate in Charleslton, SC, comes less than three weeks before the Iowa caucuses and features a slimmed down batch of candidates led by D-Trump at center stage. Will Ted Cruz go after Trump? Will fussy Rand Paul even show? Will shorty Marco Rubio show up in high heels? Whee! This is great!

Locally, if Humboldtians would like to be entered by the political electricity only found in a room full of beer-slurping, opinionated strangers, Richard’s Goat Tavern will be screening both the undercard (3 p.m.) and main stage (6 p.m.) debates in their Miniplex theater. Do you want to listen carefully to the candidates positions? Maybe this is not the best place. Do you want to yell at politicians that can’t hear you with your fellow countrymen? Set coordinates to Samoa Boulevard!

And now, in the interest in big fun, LoCO features the most recent silly video it noticed on the Internet, a trio of young girls awkwardly singing a shoddily written Trump showtune yesterday at a rally in Florida. Savor the horribleness!
