Friday Lowdown: Arts Arcata Features a Pair of Local Band CD Release Shows

The Arcata Plaza and its surrounding avenues will be ze hot Friday zone, thanks, in part, to the draw of the monthly Arts Arcata. The night features a pair of CD release shows from local hardworking bands — bluegrass pros No Good Redwood Ramblers tap toes at HumBrews while funk kings Object Heavy shake butts at The Jam. Also, KSLG DJ and comedian Sherae O’Shaughnessy hosts an early evening Late Night with Sherae, Humboldt’s local talk/variety show, also at The Jam.

Feast your peepers on those and other potential people packs in your Lowdown listings below. --AG
