Pablo Rahner http://pablorahner.moonfruit.com/

Pablo Rahner began his career in art with a thorough exploration of color fields through painting. From there, Pablo developed a unique style of line drawing that he then fills with color. In recent years, thematic content has become increasingly important to Rahner. As his line work based style has developed, he has found importance in focusing on themes such as: Superheroes, Villains, and Pop Culture icons. Most recently, Pablo has been focusing on a series from the magazine: Cinefantastique. Along with creating two-dimensional paintings and drawings, Rahner has explored clothing as his canvas creating elaborate designs on shirts and pants.

"This group of paintings composes a study of dreaming. Often finding occasion to dream in the day, I have tried to express the joy of such in painting" - Natalie Williams, Oil Paintings on wood in the Main Hall

Music by The Sanctuary Furniture Music Ensemble, interpreting scores created by Daniel Nickerson specifically for performance in the Sanctuary's great hall. The idea of furniture music was initially conceived by French composer Erik Satie in 1917, who desired a music that would "make a contribution to life in the way as a private conversation, a painting in a gallery, or the chair on which you may or may not be sitting."
