Youthful Undead to Channel King of Pop Today on Arcata Plaza

The '80s are... ALIVE.

Humboldt is creeping ever closer to Halloween. So. Are you feeling it yet? Are we supposed to be scared now? LoCO is not convinced.

If you feel as though you’re lacking community-approved spookiness thus far, maybe saunter up to the Arcata Plaza on your lunch break today. There, around 12:45 p.m., zombie students from Sunny Brae Middle School will resurrect dance moves from Michael Jackson’s 1983 “Thriller” music video. Note: The undead fear not rain. The show must go on.

In other holiday appropriate Lowdown news, Patton Oswalt fans will be pleased by this week’s Sci-Fi Pint and Pizza Night film selection up at the Arcata Theatre Lounge, the astounding Death Bed: The Bed That Eats People. Behold the craptacularness below. --AG
