Before You See Him at HSU, Watch Drew Carey in His First Tonight Show Appearance

Legit Celebrity in Humboldt Alert: The biggest famous face news to hit Humboldt since Colin Farrell got a latte, comedy megastar Drew Carey will take the stage at HSU's Van Duzer Theatre Friday night in an actually scheduled appearance. I know what you're wondering: Where will Drew get his cup of joe? Time will tell, kids.

But before the 800 or so of you lucky ticket holders are served your yuks, lets take a 25 year trip back in time back to when Carey was just rising to national prominence. In those days, Johnny Carson was still at the helm of The Tonight Show and every standup craved the the legitimization an appearance before the king of late night provided.
