Wednesday Lowdown: OK, This is One of the Better Sci-Fi Pint and Pizza Night Trailers We’ve Watched (VIDEO)

Hey, Wednesday!

As far as local out-and-about options are concerned, Humboldt is mostly still in its annual winter, no-students-around-to-profit-from hibernation period. (They’ll be back before you know it.) Thankfully, as a scroll of your Lowdown listings below reveal, most of your regular Wednesday lineup is up and running.

Notable on the list, hey, it’s Sci-Fi Pint and Pizza Night up at the Arcata Theatre Lounge. This week in films that have aged curiously: Equipped with ray guns that turn humans into floppy skeletons, the bad aliens have come to earth looking for a new home. As the trailer below promises, "you’ll watch the world tremble in the horror-grip of Teenagers From Outer Space (1959)."

Hopefully, your trembly hand don't spill your pint. --AG
