Who Will Be Mr. Humboldt 2015? Is it You? It's Not if You Don't Sign Up, Dummy!

Humboldt, long celebrated for not being Santa Rosa, is the second awesomest county in America according to a recent article thing published by the Washington Post. Yes! That’s pretty important, if you think about it! What it obviously means is that the rest of the country looks to us for tips on how to be amazing, probably. A place this boss needs solid people representing it. The world is watching.

This is why, annually (since waaay back in 2013), the county’s choosiest kingmakers have dutifully gathered to party, support local charities and weed out a deserving dude to act as that year's Mr. Humboldt

Fall is falling, so we’re nearing the time when we will, again, need some fresh meat to lead us. 2015 Mr. Humboldt Pageant organizers are putting out the call for entries. Are you the one? Does your brand of manliness somehow typify some make believe Humboldt ideal? Do you mind acting a ham in front of your neighbors for a good cause? Is your headboard lined with Steelhead bottles (not necessarily required)? Then you should make the case for your pageant inclusion by sending an email here or messaging the Mr. Humboldt Facebook page.

Deadline for entries is Oct. 16 and the pageant will take place at the Arcata Theatre Lounge on Nov. 7. Good luck, bros. --AG

You could be this important.
