Scandinavian Jazz is a Thing You Can See in Eureka Tonight

If you want to make sure your ears are assaulted with the maximum amount of notes possible, you really only have one Monday night option. The Redwood Jazz Alliance begins its eighth year year with a pretty impressive "get" -- Anglo-Scandinavian trio Phronesis. While piano/bass/drums jazz trios tend to showcase keys, many of Phronesis' compositions center around the style of bassist Jasper Høiby. Attempt to decipher why the British music press is in love with these guys in the performance/interview video above.
