Lowdown: Eureka’s Monday Night Bandvasion

The beginning of your week need not suck, Garfields.

Your Humboldt Monday, should you choose to accept it, is highlighted by a slew of bands standing their ground in E-town. A pair of shows at Siren’s Song Tavern and Lil’ Red Lion feature no less than six scheduled guitar-led ensembles. Get an ear taste of the wonders to be had below. (From left to right: Mercy Brown, headlining the Siren's Song's more metalish night; The Mother Vines and Strix Vega bringing the heavy indieness to the Lil' Red.)

More Monday community togetherness in your regular Lowdown listings farther down. --AG
