Your Humboldt Monday offers up a treat for Deadheads still truckin’ despite their touch of grey. Often boasting about their ability to provide concertgoers one of the most authentic Grateful Dead musical experiences currently available, Dark Star Orchestra are known for their penchant for taking entire Dead setlists and performing them in their entirety. Word is that Monday’s show at the Van Duzer Theatre will be an all-acoustic engagement, so we’re curious how it all pans out.
In the event you don’t want to shell out the bucks and/or hate the Dead (there are many of you) there is an all-ages free show for the Eureka and booster crowd (there are many of you). The Monster Women headline a show at The Siren’s Song Tavern that will also feature Romanteek keyboardist/percussionist Greta Jane Pedersen as well as standup comedy from Sarah Adams.
