Best of Humboldt (or Redwood Acres) Fair Kinda Kicks Off Tonight

Hopefully y'all got out to the reenergized Oyster Festival on Saturday ('twas boss). And hopefully you have recovered from said festival by this point because, by dammit, Humboldt has another week of “hooray!”s scheduled.

As far as recurring annual events that you’ve grown accustomed to attending, this week sees the return of the Best of Humboldt Fair (or “Redwood Acres Fair” if you’re not down with change). For a list of events and performers you can try heading over to the event’s website, but the experience will likely frustrate you (God, that thing needs help).

What we will mention is that BoH festivities kick off tonight at the annual Farm-to-Table Dinner at the fairgrounds featuring locally produced food aplenty as well as previews of some of the unique attractions you’ll find at this year’s fair. (This press release hints at the presence of a baby tiger. That may excite you.)

Should be a “fair”ly good time. Heh.
