WIL BLADES

Wil Blades, a native Chicagoan, has become the San Francisco Bay Area’s first call organist and is rapidly gaining momentum throughout the world. He has been named in the Downbeat critics poll under “Rising Star” for organ every year since 2006. Wil has kept the traditional sounds of Jimmy Smith, Larry Young, and “Groove” Holmes alive, while creating a more personal, modern sound. Wil has performed and recorded with John Lee Hooker, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Melvin Sparks, Idris Muhammad, Joe Louis Walker, Don Braden, Donald Harrison, Nicholas Payton, Karl Denson, Will Bernard, Scott Amendola, Charlie Hunter, Stanton Moore, Billy Martin, Anders Osborne, Jason Marsalis, Herlin Riley, Betty Joplin, Eddie Marshall, Herbie Lewis, and many others.

ANDY COE

With a rich background in jazz and a joyful enthusiasm for blues and psychedelic rock, Andy Coe is recognized as a deeply intuitive, emotive guitarist. As an architect of sound and style, Coe draws in listeners, making collective exploration and resolution accessible across genres. Born and raised in Seattle, Andy played in the critically acclaimed Roosevelt Highschool Jazz band before going on to graduate from the music department of the University of North Texas. He has played venues and festivals around the country and world ever since. Andy has shared the stage with many great musicians including Reggie Workman, Rashied Ali, Ravi Coltrane, Norah Jones, Stanton Moore, Mike Clark, Bobby Previtte, Skerik, Mike Dillon, Karl Denson, Kyle Hollingsworth and many others. Currently Andy resides in Seattle and plays in Skerik's Bandalabra, McTuff and the Andy Coe Band.

SKERIK

Skerik is a saxophone player who has popped up all over the scene, from his own band Critters Buggin’ to his spot as co-founder of Garage A Trois to playing onstage with bands like Robert Walter’s 20th Congress and Medeski, Martin, and Wood. Skerik is the consummate guest musician, always adding just the flavor the music requires without imposing too much of his own presence.

SIMON LOTT

Simon Lott was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana into a family of classical musicians. While growing up, Simon rejected his mother's wishes for him to become a classical guitarist or cellist, but at age twelve, Simon began taking percussion lessons because he thought he would only have to read rhythms......(HA!) At the age of 15, Simon began performing professionally with various musicians around Baton Rouge and New Orleans, then started leading bands and performing his original compositions. In May of 2000, Lott released his self-produced and mysteriously titled disc In the Parking Lott of Swing, which features many of his works. He has performed with musicians including Charlie Hunter, Robert Walter, Skerik, and members of Galactic. Lott relocated to New York City after Hurricane Katrina took its toll on New Orleans. This tragedy has unfolded many new experiences to Lott's musical, personal, and mental lives. Lott still splits a lott of time between Louisiana and New York for performances and teaches drums part-time at the University of New Orleans.
