Veils with Shoshanna
Shoshanna will teach an introduction to manipulating large pieces of silk in a workshop designed for anyone who would like to feel the magical, expressive potential in flowing fabric. Learn how to wield 3-4 yard pieces of silk through space and end with a beautiful meditative veil ritual that will calm and inspire. No experience needed! FREE CLASS, with donations accepted to assist Girl Scout Troop 90020 raise funds to send girls to school internationally.
Shoshanna has danced throughout her life on the North Coast, owns and operates Redwood Raks World Dance Studio and Enchanting Children's Parties with Shoshanna, directs Ya Habibi Dance Company and is part time dance faculty at Humboldt State University. She loves having a space where all types of creative folks of all ages celebrate community and the power of dance and human connection. She is also a Girl Scout leader and mom of two lovely girls.
