Accompanied by a live original soundtrack, Silver Ochre: Who Are US 2016 is an ever- evolving silent movie by two perpetually traveling artists; a kaleidoscopic reflection of the US of A.
From March to November, 2016, Thollem Electric and ACVilla are touring throughout the lower 48 states rotating new footage into the existing version along their way, continuously creating a unique and denser iteration of the movie with every screening. The end goal is a 2-hour movie that will capture the essence of the country leading up to the presidential elections.
The movie focuses the eye on the myriad points where people meet each other and their environment, a panoply of the unique and the common, the humorous and the tragic, every day idiosyncrasies and abstractions, undercurrents and hidden agendas.
The music is inspired by a lifetime of traveling throughout the US, weaving together elements from different sources of this extremely multi-cultural country. Thollem will be performing the score throughout this tour both with and separate from the movie.

Jonathan Kipp will be playing nothing in particular, on an electronic mallet instrument. almost* nothing in particular.
