Rosalind Parducci, Chris Parreira
Rosalind Parducci is a radiant musical presence of spirited fiddling and sparkling personality. The breadth of Parducci's multi-genre musical experience inspires an eclectic, edgy fusion in her playing. An improviser, a poet, a captivator - Parducci is a magnanimous presence both on and off the stage. A progeny of the local indie music scene in her hometown of Grass Valley, California, Parducci began her questing in the aural tradition (by musical osmosis) at Celtic sessions, and through improvisation with the Sierra Jazz Society. She has since become a lionhearted ambassador of many forms of traditional Americana and European music, and has also branched out extensively, experimenting with electric violin and her own acoustic playing styles. Her voice is pure and unembellished, softly tinted by the hues of jazz, pop and blues.
