Life Drawing with Joyce Jonte
Come experience drawing from a live model with local artist and art educator Joyce Jonte. No experience necessary. Joyce will lead the group in one minute, five minute, ten minute and fifteen minute poses. The intense focus achieved during a life drawing session enables every level of artist to develop remarkable skills.
Bring sketch pad (11" by 14" or larger) and your favorite nontoxic drawing supplies. Joyce will provide assorted supplemental supplies.
I have pursued a passionate study of watercolor painting all of my life. I am well known in Northern California for both figurative and floral works. I am co-facilitator of The Arcata Life Drawing Circle (drawing.nu) which meets at StewART Studios in Arcata three times each week.
