Into The Wind Screening
There will be a sneak preview screening of the documentary short Into the Wind: The White-tailed Kites of the Redwood Coast at The Sanctuary in Arcata, California this Friday evening (April 17th) at 7:30pm.
To accompany the wildlife tours of the Godwit Days Spring Migration Festival, filmmaker Alan Peterson of Redwood Planet Media will present his first in a series of documentaries about the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary, which follows the local White-tailed Kites for a year as they hunt, fight for territory and raise their young.
The Sanctuary is at 1301 J Street in Arcata and seating is limited to the first 90 attendees. The run time of the film is approximately 22 minutes and it will be followed by a short slideshow and a Q&A session with Alan Peterson. Suggested donation of $3 to $10 at the door
