High Elevation Butterfly Field Trip
Join Redwood Region Audubon Society for a butterfly-specific trip from Horse to Grouse Mountain. Various fritillaries, blues, swallowtails, coppers, and hairstreaks are expected, and we might also get lucky and find the recently described Disguised Wood-Nymph. We will note all the birds we see and hear as we go. Meet at 9 a.m. near Jitter Bean Coffee, 4950 Valley West Boulevard in Arcata. Bring a lunch and sun protection.
