February Science on Tap
Mark your calendars for a sizzling Science on Tap night with Alyssa Roddy, as she delves into her research on effects the of fire on Pacific marten habitat selection and movement. Join us to hear about Alyssa's research on these pint-sized carnivores and their relation to wildfire and land use practices. We can't wait to sink our claws into this informative presentation!
The presentation starts at 6 pm, but be sure to swing in early to snag a spot and grab a local beverage from the Paskenta Mad River Brewery. We’ll see you there!
The tent is back up! It gets chilly in the evening so be sure to dress warmly! We recommend bringing some cozy layers and even a chair as backup, as seating can fill up quickly. If possible, consider carpooling since parking can be limited at times.
Science on Tap fosters collaboration among local advocates for natural resources. Let's create a platform for sharing ideas and inspire resilience in environmental restoration for generations to come. Join us in building an inclusive space that welcomes everyone into the environmental community, making knowledge accessible and enjoyable for all in a laid-back and fun setting. See you there!
