Cider for Non-Profits
Come sip on a cider and support yet another amazing cause! The Gardens Project works to empower community and expand access to local food by building community gardens, rentable for a small annual fee to low income and other community members. In addition they provide gardeners free educational workshops on how to garden, manage pests, and more - all with the goal of addressing a food insecure community and empowering them to take part in their local food system (1 in 5 people in Lake County don't have adequate food access, 1 in 6 in Mendocino County). This year the organization is celebrating their 10th Anniversary! 10% of cider sales* from this evening's event will go to the NCO Gardens Project to help them continue doing this important work.
