Since forming in 1988, Tempest has delivered a globally-renowned hybrid of folk rock, Irish reels, and Scottish ballads with influences from Norwegian music. In 30+ years, they have released 18 well-received albums and performed over 2500 live shows! Tempest is regularly featured at prestigious festivals such as The Philadelphia Folk Festival, Denmark’s Skagen Festival, Britain’s Cropredy Festival, and Canada’s Winnipeg Folk Festival. Their latest album “Going Home” was self-produced and released on their own independent label!
