Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to support a valuable community resource and enjoy a unique alternative take on the traditional holiday repertoire. 20 seats available for live audience call to make reservations through the Sanctuary 707-822-0898 livestream on youtube and facebook @ sanctuary arcata "Thanks for making Christmas music fun again!" (Carrie O’Neill, public school music teacher) Since 2006 Bandemonium has been promoting an alternative voice in wind & percussion ensembles for the Northcoast of California and contributing it’s Joyful Noise in the Streets to a wide variety of worthy community causes – Women’s Marches, Science Marches, Marches against Gun Violence, benefits for the Emma Center, Serenity Inn, Tri-Counties Independent Living, Humboldt County AIDS Task Force, Humboldt Community Breast Health Project, Circus Remedy, PlanIt Green Festival, CASA and so much more. In the process the group has provided a valuable no-pressure learning space for many young musicians as well as adults ‘re-starting’ a personal relationship with music or finally getting around to beginning one. In 2018, the holiday repertoire was recorded onto a disc and entitled SANTAmonium and has been sold during the intervening years as a benefit for the Betty Chin Foundation, Ink People Center for the Arts and Blue Ox.
