Art Opening for "Arcata En Plein Air" and "Historic Postcards of Arcata"
The Sanctuary is pleased to announce two new exhibitions. The main hall will feature Arcata “En Plein Air,” a series of paintings depicting the neighborhood surrounding the Sanctuary as well as many other notable local vistas. Participating artists include Jody Bryan, Andrew Daniel, Steve Porter, and Paul Rikard. The meeting room will feature Historic Postcards of Arcata, a collection of original postcards which were provided by collector Steve Lazar of The Humboldt Project. The exhibitions will be on view through the months of September and October, with an opening reception taking place 6-9pm on September 9th during Arts Arcata.
