Albanie Falletta Band

We are pleased to welcome the Albanie Falletta Band to the Sanctuary, Thursday September 12th. Doors at 7:30 pm, show starts at 8 pm. $10 - $25 sliding scale. NOLA musician Albanie Falletta has an irresistible voice is that is at the same time early jazz and completely honest - Louis and Billy would be proud and smiling. As a guitarist she has the chops and panache to hang with the best jazzers around and an uncanny ability to keep the groove rock solid as she weaves her melodic lines in and out of the tune. Her songwriting is deep, interesting and easy as a walk in the park. Ronnie Ontiveros and Ben Bonham (Hood River, OR) form a tight musical team that has worked together for many years. Ben is an accomplished guitar and steel guitarist. Ronnie holds down the bass duties with a rare skill and delight - and he drives the van, handles the ruffians and shouts a bit. Together they provide the perfect backdrop on which this master musician works her magic.
