A Reason to Listen
The next A Reason to Listen, Humboldt’s premier live poetry event, is happening Thursday, November 7 at 7pm. November’s theme will be poets responding post election. Sign-ups begin at 6:30. Live music by the inimitable DJ Goldylocks. Live art by Dre Meza. $5-10 at the door: cash or Venmo. Both food and drink available for sale. The event takes places at the Sanctuary, which is located at 1301 J Street in Arcata.
