The Multi-generational Center
"The Eel River Valley Multigenerational Center is a place where people of all ages can come together at one place to participate in classes, programs and activites.
Unlike senior centers or teen centers that provide services, programs and activities for one generation, multigenerational facilities provide ongoing services, activities and programs for multiple generations in a single facility. There will be designated space for specific groups as well as common spaces where many different groups can interact.
Multigenerational centers provide opportunities for interaction between the generations through planned programs, activities and informal encounters and where resources that may otherwise be divided are consolidated to serve multiple generations in one facility."
