Young Creators Art Classes
Arcata Recreation now offers Young Creators Art Classes for 3-5 year olds with an adult helper. Bring your young child’s imagination to life as they create and explore in this hands-on art class. Each week, age-appropriate themed activities give you and your child an opportunity to delve into new art mediums including painting, drawing, sculpting, crafting and more. This 4-week session runs Saturdays, September 12 – October 3 from 10-11 a.m. with more sessions to follow. Fees: $35/$45 non-resident. Classes are held in the Redwood Lounge, which is a beautiful location close to Redwood Park playground and Community Forest.
