Visitor Services Training Day
Friends of the Dunes is seeking Visitor Services volunteers to work the front desk at the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center, especially during busy summer months. Volunteers provide much needed support to staff by greeting visitors, answering phones, and orienting guests to displays and trails. No experience is necessary, but volunteers should be outgoing and enjoy talking to people. Two Volunteer trainings will be provided on Thursday, May 7 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 9 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center, 220 Stamps Lane in Manila.
