The Incredibles (2004)
Fifteen years ago superheroes used to walk among us. Performing acts of great heroism and inspiring the citizens of Metroville to follow their example. But after seemingly endless lawsuits and public outcry by the very people they’d sworn to protect, super humans were forced into retirement and government funded anonymity. One of the best of them all was Bob Parr aka Mr.Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) now living a mundane life as an insurance agent. Although his wife Helen aka Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) has moved on and is more focused on their three super kids: Dashiell who is as confident as he is fast, the shy and invisible Violet, and baby Jack Jack who seems to have not inherited the super gene. When Bob is approached by the shadow government with the chance to return to his old life, he takes it and soon finds himself in a trap set up by an embittered enemy named Syndrome who once idolized him. Now it’s up to his family to step out of a life of secrecy and save his life.
