A Reason to Listen Poetry Collective hosts: The Humboldt Poetry Show! The Humboldt Poetry Show takes place the 1st Thursday of every month, and is going on it's 13th year! Open mic sign ups start at 7pm, the show starts at 7:30pm. There will be live music from DJ Goldylocks and Live Art by Dre Meza. Our featured poets include: Anne Fricke, a beloved local poet releasing her first novel, and J. Ward, a nationally acclaimed slam poet from Charlotte, N.C.!
