Loleta Cheese Summer Garden Party
Enjoy an afternoon in the beautiful Loleta Cheese Botanical Garden! Take a tour of the garden grounds and meet the gardener Ryan Stafsnes. The event will feature an art show by Arcata Arts Institute student Leo Stafsnes. Leo has studied under local artist Jim McVicker and is one of Humboldt's up-and-coming talents. There will be artwork for sale and raffles to support CASA of Humboldt's work to advocate for local foster children. Sample Loleta cheese and other local foods, enjoy refreshments and see how cheese is made. And bring the kids to help name a baby calf!
