Join Sanctuary Forest on Saturday, September 7 for the Stewarding Lost River Tour (our final hike of the 2024 season!), led by Tasha McKee and Cam Thompson. Participants will be introduced to Sanctuary Forest’s restoration work in the Lost River tributary of the Mattole River, including our streamflow augmentation ponds, beaver dam analog structures, forest thinning, instream habitat improvements and groundwater recharge work in North and South Fork Lost River.
