(CANCELED) St. Patrick's Day Barn Dance

UPDATE FROM THE HUMBOLDT FOLKLIFE SOCIETY: The Humboldt Folklife Society and the Humboldt Unitarian Universalist Fellowship regrettably are postponing the St. Patrick’s Barn Dance and Ceilidh scheduled for Friday, March 13, at the Arcata Veterans Hall. In light of the global virus outbreak and current public health recommendations, dance organizers and musicians are taking on the social responsibility to help reduce spread in the wider community – cancellation of large social gatherings is a preventive measure that has been proven effective historically.  Many people in our community are at higher risk,by virtue of their age, their compromised immunity, or other issues. Even if you arenot at risk yourself, diligently adhering to preventative measures recommended by public health officials could save lives.
