The holidays just got BRIGHTER as the Humboldt County Fairgrounds announced its First Annual Driving and Walking Light Tour!
Experience the Magic of the Season with a Festive Drive-Thru and Walking Tour
Every summer we enjoy The Humboldt County Fair, but now there is a new exciting reason to visit the Historic Fairgrounds, in Winter! Replacing the show animals and summer exhibits will be 1000’s of lights bringing the North Pole a little closer to Humboldt County. lights will line the familiar grounds, with season greetings for all visitors walking or driving the whole holiday season! The SPARKLING LIGHT SPECTACULAR, a month-long happening, will be a wonderful reason to come out during the colder months to be warmed by the glow of the holiday spirit.
• Cookies & Hot Chocolate: To add even more holiday cheer, cookies and hot chocolate will be offered at our gates.
• Drive-Thru Light Display: Rain or Shine from the comfort of their own vehicles, visitors can drive through an illuminated path lined with sparkling lights, and festive music available on FM transmitter radio. Perfect for families, even in the rain!
• Walking Tour: For those who want a more immersive experience, the walking tour offers a chance to stroll through the light displays, take photos, and on Friday & Saturday Night, Irish coffees or a Hot-Toddy.
