Science on Tap: Rising Tides and Restoration
This Months Science on Tap event will include research from Dr. Jason Patton about Sea-Level rise on the North Coast and the impressive restoration work done on Riverside Ranch shared by Marisa McGrew with the Wiyot Tribe's fisheries and natural resource department. You won’t want to miss this one if you live in the Humboldt or the Eel River Bay. So come on out to the Mad River Brewery Friday, August 25th to learn more!
The talks will start at 6pm but come early to grab a seat and chow down on some delicious Low and Slow BBQ all while sipping your favorite beverage from the Mad River Brewery!
DON'T FORGET, the tent covering the brewery patio has been taken down for the summer, so bring a hat, sunglasses and maybe even a little sunscreen.
Our monthly Science on Tap event encourages intentional collaboration among our local natural resource advocates. We hope to build a platform for idea sharing to inspire generational resilience for regional environmental restoration. Along with this, we wanted to create a space to welcome people of all backgrounds into the environmental community and increase accessibility and access to knowledge in a fun and casual setting.
