Ryan Keberle and Catharsis

A former sideman for Beyonce and Sufjan Stevens and a soloist with Darcy James Argue’s steampunk big band Secret Society (also a featured soloist on the Maria Schneider Orchestra's recent collaboration with David Bowie, "Sue (Or In a Season of Crime)"), Keberle is now raising the trombone’s profile with warm small-group music that’s front-loaded with melody and groove.
