Rural Breast Cancer Survival Study Community Forum
Join the conversation about breast cancer in Humboldt County, and learn about the results of a Rural Breast Cancer Survival Study, which recently looked into two questions: -What factors are linked to a higher risk of dying from breast cancer? -How do we compare with the rest of the state? This 18 month pilot study was conducted by the Breast and GYN Health Project and the California Center for Rural Policy at HSU. It is community-based participatory research funded by the California Breast Cancer Research Program.
