Latin Grammy nominated & Brazilian Music Awards winning songwriter and musician Rogê is considered to be a principal part of the Brazilian popular music scene revival (MPB), and even composed the theme for the Rio Olympics. Rogê has released 7 solo albums and 2 collaborations - with samba legend Arlindo Cruz and with Seu Jorge (best known in the U.S. for The Life Aquatic soundtrack). Now based in Los Angeles, CA, he just released "CURYMAN" (Diamond West Records) , his debut album in the U.S. He's recently played with the Gipsy Kings, Budos Band, Jack Johson (with whom he released 2 singles at the end of 2022), among others.
