Prairie Creek 1/2 Marathon and 5K
Come and enjoy the Prairie Creek 1/2 Marathon and 5K Run/ walk. All proceeds from the run go to support Redwood Park association. This event is held in conjunction with the free Hike and Bike day on the parkway with closure of the Newton B. Drury parkway to cars. Everyone, including dogs on leash, babies in strollers, skaters, roller bladers, bicyclists, hikers, and walkers are encouraged to experience this 7 mile road though ancient coast redwoods. Bike day ends at sunset with the reopening of the parkway to cars.
