Planet 4 performs Thursday, February 11th, at Cecil's New Orleans Bistro in Garberville. The vocal artistry of Beth Wells is backed up by Peter Weissman on bass, Orlando Morales, percussion, Jimmy Durchslag, trombone, and Andy Barnett, keys and trumpet. Planet 4 ranges wide through the musical universe with funk, jazz, blues, and world sounds, always with their tight, tuneful arrangements. The good times blast off at Cecil's at 7:30 Thursday.
