Pints for Non-Profits Night at MRBCo: This One's for Logan
Cancer hits close to home….
This story is as much about our friend and Tap Room regular Jessica as it is about her son Logan and her 15-year-old daughter Madison.
Logan has been battling cancer since Christmas. He's been doing an amazing job at it but it has been a rough road to recovery.
As a single parent, Jessica has to be the strength for the three of them. This is why I’m sharing her story. I’m asking our community - made up of our family, friends, friends of family and friends of friends - to help them navigate this unbelievable set of circumstances. I believe the greatest gift we can give them during the foreseeable future is our help. The financial help she needs to breathe so that she can care for her child.
$1 from every pint of Mad River Brewing Company beer sold ALL DAY will go to help pay for the expenses that are necessary to Logan’s treatment. Jessica has to figure out how to keep her job, which will end up being part time, so that she can keep her benefits while caring for Logan.
Unfortunately, there is no stop button. Life moves on. She has to figure out how to navigate this new life over the next 12 months so that Logan can beat this. With our help he will.
