N.Y. International Children's Film Fest
Every weekend in July! The NYICFF tour brings films to arts organizations around the country that might not otherwise have access to independent films for young people. "Best of the Fest #1" (ages 3 & up) plays Saturdays & Sundays at 4:00 pm, while "Best of the Fest #2" (ages 8 to adult) plays at 5:30 pm. Founded in 1997, the festival aims to encourage active, discerning viewing, and stimulate lively discussion. 35 of the films premiered at the Fest have gone on to receive Oscar nominations.
