North Jetty Bettys vs. Widow Makers
Humboldt Roller Derby's kick off to the 10-year anniversary season on January 28th, 2017! Doors open at 5:00 P.M. Game starts at 6:00 P.M. The first game will be a shortened expo game! The second game will be a full length bout featuring the North Jetty Bettys vs. the Widow Makers! This year our league was split into two home teams and every skater was assigned to the Bettys or the Widows! Those skaters will stay with their teams for the duration of the season! When it comes time to battle other teams, they will come together to form the Redwood Rollers (our sanctioned WFTDA team who play for international rankings!) and the newly named HRD B Team! Unlike the Bettys and Widows, which will stay the same all year, the skaters on the Redwood Rollers and the HRD B Team can change throughout the season! Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Children under 10 are free! Tickets can be purchased locally at Wildberries, People's Records, S.T.I.L. and The Works! Online tickets are available through Brown Paper Tickets! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to CASA of Humboldt!
