North Coast Mensa Public Forum
KAEF TV news anchor Lindsay Housaman will speak on the station’s entry into local news at the North Coast Mensa forum this Saturday at noon at the Samoa Cookhouse. In less than a year, the local news operation has grown to three daily broadcasts, in the morning, at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. Housaman, who also is assistant news director at the Eureka station, has a decade of broadcasting experience and worked in Alaska before coming to the North Coast. She is graduate of the University of South Carolina Broadcast Journalism program. The event is open to the public, lunch is no host and the cookhouse is at 522 Vance Ave. in Samoa.
