Mummenschanz: 50 Years
Founded in Paris in 1972, Mummenschanz has become a global icon in mask-based theater, transcending cultural and linguistic barriers with their unique visual language. The theater troupe conquered the world without saying a single word, but using a purely visual language of unsupported masks against a black background to create a captivating, wordless performance.
The show will feature iconic characters like the Clay Masks and the Toilet Paper Faces, along with the delicate, air-filled Giants and the Pipe Creature. The audience can also look forward to new sketches and characters that embody the distinctive Mummenschanz spirit.
