Join Friends of the Dunes and Professor of Zoology Dr. Dawn Goley for a lecture Marine Mammals Ashore: Lessons from marine Mammal Strandings in Northern California. Dr. Dawn Goley is the Director of Humboldt State University’s Marine Mammal Stranding Program and has been studying Marine Mammals in Northern California since 1996. Doors open at 6:30 so arrive early for hot tea and light snacks, please bring your own mug. A suggested donation of $5-10 is requested to support Friends of the Dunes Education Programs.
