Marian Call

Singer-songwriter Marian Call writes whimsical Alaskan folk funk for the coffee counter-culture. She sounds a little like Joni Mitchell & Regina Spektor raising the child of Jason Mraz & Erin McKeown. Call's sound is always soulful, honest, and clever, loved by all types -- computer geeks, church ladies, teenage thugs, NPR listeners, and urban hipsters worldwide. She has toured all 50 United States, Europe and most of Canada, yet despite her incessant touring stays rooted in Alaska for inspiration. Doors open at 6:30 with River Valley Mud vocalist Claire Bent and Aber Miller on keys. Marian comes on at 7:30. Come early, space is super limited, chairs even more so. Good idea to bring something to sit on as this isn't usually a live performance venue. $10-$15 Recommended artist donation per person
