Tiny Houses: A Fad or the Future of Housing?
As part of the Sustainable Futures Speaker Series, Lee Pera will present “Tiny Houses: A Fad or the Future of Housing?” Lee is a founding member of the Tiny House Collaborative and works with cities and communities to plan how tiny houses and other mobile structures can be incorporated into affordable housing strategies and creative arts spaces. Her talk will address the tiny house movement, its origins, its demographics, and its role in the changing housing landscape. The Sustainable Futures Speaker Series is presented by the Environment & Community Graduate Program and Schatz Energy Research Center. The presentation will take place Thursday, October 20, at 5:30 p.m. in ArtB 102 on the HSU campus.
