Lanphere Dunes Restoration
Volunteers are needed to help restore the Lanphere Dunes Unit of the Humboldt Bay Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, May 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Volunteers will be removing invasive annual grasses in order to make room for more native diversity. Gloves, tools and snacks will be provided. Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring drinking water. Meet at Pacific Union School, 3001 Janes Road in Arcata, to carpool to this protected site.
