Kubo and the Two Strings (2016)
Intelligent, kind hearted Kubo (Art Parkinson) lives a humble
life in his small seaside village telling stories to everyone including: Hosato (George Takei), and Akihiro (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa). But when Kubo accidentally summons a spirit from his past who reigns down from the heavens to enforce an age old vendetta, his existence is shattered. Now in order to survive the gods and monsters nipping at his heels, Kubo is forced to leave his home and escape at all costs. Now on the run, Kubo teams up with Monkey (Charlize Theron) and Beetle (Matthew McConaughey) on an epic adventure to save his village and solve the mystery of his fallen father, the greatest samurai whose ever lived, and defeat the vengeful Moon King (Ralph Fiennes), to unlock the secret of his legacy, reunite his family, and fulfill his heroic destiny.
